In this two-day beginner to intermediate course, Dr. Chris’ clinical pearls on evaluating and managing barbell athletes to keep them pain-free in the gym or weight room. After completing a sports residency and working in professional sports over the last decade, Dr. Chris Garcia shares everything he’s learned. The hybrid in-person and virtual (via Zoom) course is for healthcare (PT/ATC/MT/DC) and fitness professionals (personal trainers, CrossFit coaches, strength and conditioning coaches). It will be hosted at Sports Performance Physical Therapy (San Diego) on Saturday and Sunday, October 28th & 29th, 2023 (8:00am – 5:00pm PST). The course is accredited for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants for 15 CEU hours (1.5 CEUs) through the California Physical Therapy Association and approval pending for 15 CEU hours (1.5 CEUs) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
