Dr. Chris Garcia, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a sports physical therapist and the founder of Sports Performance Physical Therapy and Stem Cell Recovery Experts in San Diego. A former physical therapist for the United States Olympic Committee, he trained in the Ohio State sports residency and now builds recovery programs for adults after stem cell injections.

Dr. Chris Garcia, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a board-certified sports clinical specialist and the founder of Sports Performance Physical Therapy and Stem Cell Recovery Experts in San Diego.
He earned his doctorate at Washington University in St. Louis and was one of five physical therapists selected for the Ohio State University sports physical therapy residency, becoming San Diego’s first residency-trained sports clinical specialist. He went on to spend three years as a physical therapist for the United States Olympic Committee in Chula Vista, worked NFL Combine training, and travelled as concierge physical therapist to pro tennis player Ryan Harrison at events including the French Open and Wimbledon.
Today he builds the recovery programs his team delivers, with a focus on adults recovering after stem cell and regenerative injections. He has hosted three podcasts, with more than 54,000 downloads on his clinician show, served as adjunct faculty in the San Diego State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and been featured on ESPN and Fox 5 San Diego.
