For clinicians
Better outcomes for your athletes — and for the post-injection clients more of you are now seeing.
Everything here is free. Years of clinical teaching, from the Olympic Training Center to a San Diego practice floor, and what I’ve learned about loading tissue after regenerative procedures.

The topics clinicians ask me about most
Criteria, not calendars
How to decide an athlete is ready, and what to test before you say yes.
Rehab under the bar
Keeping lifters training while the injury settles, rather than stopping everything.
Assessment that changes the plan
SFMA and FMS in real clinics — what’s worth the time and what isn’t.
Loading after injections
Why the first two weeks matter so much, and the mistakes I see most.
Dosing strength work
Sets, reps and progressions that hold up for athletes and for 60-year-olds.
When the plan isn’t working
How I review a stalled case with my own staff.
Still teaching
Time with the next generation of PTs
I still say yes to teaching. Most recently that meant a talk for Doctor of Physical Therapy students at the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos.
Treating a post-injection client?
“Is it normal that my PT had me push a 200-pound sled two weeks after my injections?”
A client sent me that message after her first session back. Her therapist wasn’t careless. Most physical therapists simply never see enough post-injection clients to build the instinct for it — so they fall back on standard post-op timelines, which don’t fit.
If one of your clients has had injections, point them to my team. We build the plan around the procedure they already had, week by week.
